Job Description:

We are looking for a Major Sales Manager to join a thriving and expanding Waste Management company. The role is customer-orientated, meaning that being able to communicate with anyone is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative, enthusiastic and experienced waste professional.  

What the role involves:

  • Maintaining relationships with existing and pipeline clients through effective communication and management.
  • Enhancing the service provided in order to achieve targets.
  • A hands-on approach to customer care- e.g. client tours.
  • Creating new recycling approaches.
  • Overseeing and managing supplier activity, work and costs.
  • Producing reports, answering customer queries and general admin work.
  • Undertake annual audits and ad-hoc inspections.
  • Working independently and with the Sales and Marketing teams to integrate waste and recycling methods to customers.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be driven, passionate, resilient and an excellent communicator.
  • Have experience working in the waste and recycling industry.
  • Understand how to manage and maintain customer relationships due to previous experience.
  • Be able to identify new business/ideas by being innovative, entrepreneurial and ambitious.
  • Be flexible, organised and a multi-tasker.
