To deliver and maintain a high quality mechanical engineering service as part of the Property Maintenance Team to meet the needs of the various client groups and residents of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. To work in a team of staff ensuring that properties are effectively and efficiently maintained, repaired, adapted or replaced, in accordance with client requirements, statutory compliance, service specification and strategic and team plans.To contribute fully to individual and team development, aspirations and key
objectives to provide an accountable, best value and quality professional service ensuring that mechanical engineering design, installations and works undertaken are fully compliant with statutory obligations and best practice.
Undertake full range of mechanical engineering duties in-connection with the scope of work allocated, including major new build and/or refurbishment projects, responsive and planned maintenance and other revenue and capital funded projects and works programmes.
Visit sites to: - undertake asset register, condition and measured surveys for refurbishment and/or redevelopment proposals etc; and to meet with client representatives to discuss projects, contractual and technical issues as required.
The role is a rolling contract for at least three(3) months.
