Job Description:

Our client are a growing property management business looking to recruit full-time Domestic Appliance Engineer or White Goods Engineer to carry out a range of maintenance tasks on domestic appliances within their numerous properties in the Manchester and Liverpool areas. The Domestic Appliance engineer will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing faults, repairs and general maintenance of a range of domestic appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers at properties within the Manchester and Liverpool areas

 

As the successful Domestic Appliances Engineer duties will include:

  • Undertake all domestic appliance servicing, repair and general maintenance as required
  • Provide accurate daily reports on operational activities in compliance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with company procedures and policies, Health and Safety, control of hazardous materials, in line with COSHH regulations and PPE
  • Ensure all equipment is fully functional, appropriately maintained and certificated with defects reported and waste materials disposed of correctly

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required in a similar role
  • Manufacture training and/or experience on Beko, Electrolux, Bosch, Whirlpool, Hotpoint or Indesit would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of 1st/2nd line refrigeration including City and Guilds Refrigeration is desired but not essential
  • Candidates must hold CCN1, CKN1 or CKR1 qualifications
  • Candidates must be able to drive and have a full UK driving license, a company van will be supplied
  • Own tools would be highly advantageous
