Job Description:

Our Client a leading, UK independent utility provider are seeking a full time SHEQ Officer to work at their Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds office.

The support officer will be responsible for helping to collate monthly reports and statistical information for the group of companies. The successful candidate will need to assist the Compliance Manager to ensure all staff and sub-contractors authorisations are current and accurate. Maintain the HSE and technical training records provide support and holiday cover for the SHEQ team.


  • Provide quality service standards to all customers
  • Provide accurate quality work within the department and company
  • To be able to work as part of a team and providing support to the business.
  • General admin functions
  • Self-motivated, action orientated, organised and results driven
  • Ability to work to tight timescales and under pressure
  • Any other additional duties as deemed appropriate to meet the business requirements

Candidate requirements:

  • Good understanding of general office administration
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge and competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • GCSE Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent.

In return our client offers:

Salary of £25K - £26,500K depending on experience

Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm
