Technical Services Manager

We are supporting our client on the West Sussex Coast to find the very best Technical Services Manager in their field.

The client has seen tremendous growth over recent months and after several major programme wins they are looking to strengthen their Aftersales and 'Through Life Support' capability.

The Technical Services Manager will report into and work very closely with the Support Services Manager.

There will be a specific focus on Electrical Systems but all aspects of Engineering will be seen.

The Role

As part of the role you will be required to:-

• Directly deliver the total solution
• Review and asses customer requests, warranty trend of deficiency in design.
• Produce solution requirement technical documents and solutions
• Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
• Foresee additional sales opportunities
• Task progress and workload reporting
• Establish sufficient labour resource

The Person

To be successful in this role you will require the following:-

• Automotive Engineering experience including mechanical, electrical systems, body, trim and bespoke installations
• Automotive / Motorsport (or any other applicable) degree is required. The client will accept 15 years experience in the industry without a degree
• Demonstrable problem solving experience across a range of Automotive systems.
• Experience working within Military/Defence business is essential
• Practical hands on experience
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance to SC level is essential
