IT Service Desk Engineer will be working in a small service desk team to assist with capacity issues and to improve the standard of service provided to users. please see the details below:
Timings are as follows:
9:00 - 17:15 Monday - Friday
Rate: up to £153 per day (umbrella) -IR35 status yet to be confirmed, most likely will be inside IR35
? Logging and triaging tickets via phone and email, providing immediate technical resolution where possible.
? Assigning tickets to colleagues.
? Chasing colleagues / providing regular updates to users.
? Assisting with reporting.
? Looking for opportunities to improve service.
? Shift rotation - some weeks starting at 7.45, other weeks normal office hours.
Skills / aptitudes / experience:
? Happy to work as part of a small team and on own initiative.
? Good coordination and organisational skills.
? Able to work in a busy environment.
? Excellent telephone manner - comfortable speaking to users at all levels.
? Good standard of written communication.
? Good basic technical skills.
? Able to pick up technical concepts quickly.
? Experience of working in a healthcare environment preferred but not essential.
? Customer-focused attitude essential!
