My well-established M + E client is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician based in the Chester area.

My client provides services in buildings maintenance, mechanical and electrical, construction, refurbishment and facilities management.

Responsibilities:

• You will be working on diverse residential projects from conversions to resolving minor defect issues within customer facing roles
• Working to detailed briefs for assigned work and taking a hands-on approach to a wide variety of jobs including, decoration remedial works, full re-decoration works internal and external, minor patching, joinery works and general maintenance
• Gathering work schedules and updating job progress on the in-house system using a handheld PDA device, ensuring up to date each day
• Ensuring materials and machinery for jobs are organised with head office colleagues via the PDA
• Efficiently communicating updates on jobs to customers
• Attending head office meetings
• Ensuring health and safety of colleagues and customers on each job
• Following COVID processes and policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a multi-skilled trade professional, particularly within decoration along with other building / maintenance work
• Experience in plumbing and tiling
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Proactive and flexible approach towards tasks using a variety of trade skills
• Professional and diplomatic helpful manner and positive can-do attitude
• Superb communication and customer facing skills
• Dedication and passion to complete projects within tight deadlines to a high standard
• Possess own hand tools
• Basic IT skills to receive and submit work updates on mobile phone
• Full UK driving licence
• Due to the nature of the work undertaken by the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS Check
• A valid CSCS Card is required
