Agile Business Analyst

Business Analyst – Software Company - £35k-£45k (depending on experience)

A renowned enterprise software and technology provider is looking for an ERP-experienced Agile Business Analyst who would love to progress into the Product function.

Reporting to the Head of Product, this role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to utilise their existing experience as a Business Analyst, while incrementally adding Product Owner responsibilities.

The business is based in Central London, with an office in Manchester, and they are open to remote working. There will be an expectation for office presence once possible, though this is likely to be 3-4 times a month and could be at either office.

The Role:

• Collaborate with Product Managers to determine scope/priorities of new features and products
• Liaise with business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clearly established and met
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of requirements
• Write clear user stories and definition of done
• Prioritise requirements and features
• Collaborate with QA teams, creating and reviewing test plans
• Support Product Managers with the creation of release notes
• Lead the Development team in Agile process
• Be the interface between Product developers and the business

• The ideal candidate will be:
• Detail oriented and process obsessed
• A good communicator who is able to foster collaboration across the business
• Excellent communication is essential to understand detailed requirements when speaking with stakeholders.

• 2+ years’ experience as a BA is essential
• ERP experience is essential
• Agile software development experience is essential
• Excellent communication is essential to understand detailed requirements when speaking with stakeholders
• Previous experience managing backlogs would be beneficial, but isn’t essential
