Job Description:

My Client are currently looinh for a PHP Developer to join thei already established team. You will be working on existing client projects built on the CakePHP MVC framework, as well as creating solutions for new customers. Your role will also include supporting more junior members of the team and helping them become well rounded developers.

Your salary will be based on experience and will be competitive.

Candidate Specification

The ideal candidate will be a strong developer able to tackle complex problems and work with large scale frameworks and applications using modern PHP development practices.

You will have at least 3 years commercial experience in CakePHP or a similar MVC PHP framework, you will be PHP certified (or have the knowledge to gain the certification quickly) and will have already embraced practises like Test Driven Development.

We develop on Windows, but deploy to Linux, so knowledge of working with both operating systems is essential.

You will be comfortable mentoring junior developers when required.

You will understand the needs of SME, that we cannot always strive for perfection, and the importance of meeting client deadlines. You will be responsible enough to understand that if you miss a deadline, that you be expected to rectify the situation.
