Digital Marketing Strategist

• As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for setting up, implementing and managing the overall company's digital marketing strategy.
• Digital marketing strategies are extremely important for their company's success, so your role will play a crucial role in achieving our business goals and objectives.
• They are expecting you to have experience and a big passion for digital marketing and a thorough knowledge in all digital marketing channels.

Responsibilities:

• Build, plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy.
• Manage and train the rest of the marketing team.
• Stay up to date with latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
• Manage and oversee all of the company's digital marketing channels including but not limited to Social Media channels, Google, Email, and PR.
• Measure ROI and KPIs.
• Prepare and manage the overall marketing budget.
• Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics.
• Build an inclusive marketing plan.
• Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Continuously monitor and analyze the set up and performance of all Facebook ad campaigns and and Google Adwords campaigns.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to improve the performance of all Paid Media Advertising.
• Create customer segments and explore ways to create targeted email marketing campaigns.
• Work with the Marketing and Sales team to provide forecasts.
• Manage the day-to-day execution, targeting, and keyword optimization of ongoing paid media campaigns.
• Analyze performance data to provide relevant reporting metrics and appropriate recommended action plans.
• Build and manage new and existing relationships with all vendors on OneCart and marketing partnerships.
• Report on the performance of all third-party agency's who provide services to OneCart.
• Assist in the scoping and development of proposals and workable budgets.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Digital Marketing Strategist or similar role.
• 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies.
• Good knowledge of all different digital marketing channels.
• Good knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices.
• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Have strong copywriting, reporting, and communication skills.
• Have a strong working knowledge of Google Adwords and Analytics.
• Have a track record in helping to deliver effective social media campaigns.
• Have a passion for digital marketing in general.
• Have strong attention to detail.
• Be a self-starter who can work under their own initiative.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organisational, scheduling and planning skills.
• Good knowledge and experience working with Facebook Ads, Instagram and Twitter.
• Ability to handle high pressure.
• Achievement orientated and results-driven.
