What you will be doing…

Working as a member of a team of Process Engineers, the key responsibilities of the role will be to apply engineering solutions in order to support and improve all aspects of the manufacturing process, using continuous improvement and proactive methodologies to ensure that optimum quality, product and machine efficiencies are obtained with minimum waste.

In addition to the above, the successful applicant will be involved in a wide range of projects which will include process optimisation, process commissioning, materials usage and the introduction of new products in to manufacturing, together with the support tasks required to achieve the above, such as maintenance of data systems and producing process instructions.

What we are looking for…

The successful candidate will be qualified ideally to degree standard, or a minimum HND in an appropriate Engineering discipline. You will have experience in the manufacturing process and be able to demonstrate an understanding of plastic and metal manufacturing methods and techniques in addition to a sound theoretical engineering knowledge.

You will possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence and work at all levels. A high level of drive and energy are required to achieve objectives whilst ensuring standards are maintained.

This is a hands-on role working within a high volume manufacturing environment, requiring a good level of analytical and problem solving skills.
