Sheltered Housing officer needed Swindon paying £11.93 per hr PAYE Ref: 414301

This is working full time hours on a temporary basis

 Responsibilities:

1. Provide a morning welfare call to residents who have requested it. Provide a weekly Intercom call to all properties.
2. Liaise with agencies and families regarding residents needs.
3. Create and update as required, records relating to residents medical conditions, personal details, incidents etc.
4. Create and update as required, scheme records relating to building maintenance, Inventory, Log sheets etc
5. Ensure daily that the scheme is safe from hazards and report any issues to scheme Supervisor. Complete Accident / Incident sheets as required.
6. Check daily email account for scheme and reply promptly to any messages
7. Answer telephone calls and deal with any issues that arise
8. Report communal repairs and repairs on behalf of residents as required and record accordingly
9. Oversee contractors working on site ensuring safe working practices are adhered to and appropriate records kept.
10. Follow fire safety regulations. Test fire alarm system weekly. Ensure that all fire documentation is accurate and up to date. Complete 6 monthly fire drill and assist with scheme fire risk assessment and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue inspections.
11. Conduct weekly legionella inspection and document accordingly
12. Complete monthly site tests – emergency alarm system, meter readings, fire doors etc
13.  Be responsible for all administration of bookings & payments for the guest flat
14. Ensure all cleaning including the laundry is complete
15. Supervise site cleaner. Complete their 1-2-1s and appraisals.
16. Ensure COSHH regulations are adhered to and cleaning store is stocked and safely stored.
17. Complete essential cleaning as required
