Clearance Requirements & Eligibility

This role will require you to hold or be eligible to obtain baseline security (BPSS). You must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum 5 year period. If you are unsure as to whether you are eligible, please contact me to discuss.

This role requires you to undertake a BPSS + Criminal Record Check

The Role

• Support the warehouse management and complete the required tasks to ensure the efficient running of the store, that business objectives are achieved and a high level of service to our customers is maintained.
• Undertake all aspects of storekeeping to include issue, receipt, stocktaking, reconciliation & consolidation. Undertake tasks in line with published procedures to ensure compliance and stock accuracy is maintained.

Essential Skills

• Dangerous goods knowledge including goods by air, sea & road - qualified in ADR (road), IMDG (sea) and IATA (air): packing and documenting DG for transportation in all three modes.
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement in processes, working practices and team efficiency.
• Good knowledge of storekeeping principles, H&S Procedures Understanding of the importance of customer focus & achieving deadlines.
