Principle Accountabilities Required to work in a dynamic and flexible simulator environment, key tasks include the following * Leading V&V activities (Test Plans, Test Scripts, Testing, VCRM, Test Reports).

• Configuring and testing the simulator to meet evolving customer requirements. * Testing new simulator software builds to ensure they provide the required level of functionality. * Investigating, diagnosing and resolving issues reported on the simulator platforms, working with other teams as required. * Writing and updating test specifications and configuration instructions to align with updated requirements and functionality.
• Providing support to a variety of simulation and training activities across the simulator estate. * Supporting the migration of the simulator service onto updated hardware and operating system platforms.

* Supporting installation activities (Test system installation and commissioning, detailed design documentation, simulator installation, customer acceptance). Qualifications and Skills * Qualification to degree level in an engineering discipline or extensive experience in engineering that has been demonstrated to be equivalent. * Should be motivated and able to work with the minimum of supervision as part of a team where close co-operation and interaction are essential. * It is essential for the job holder to have good communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to efficiently carry out that part of the job where dialogue with customers is of paramount importance. * Good knowledge or experience of some or all of the following technologies and techniques: * Systems Engineering * Software Verification and Validation * Scripting languages: Python, PERL * Knowledge of Linux Environment *Knowledge of Windows Environment
