Based in Sandbach paying £24.51ph PAYE

 

This is a full time temporary role.     

 

Our client is looking for Health & Safety Manager. To lead, coordinate and maintain a fully qualified and high quality safety, health and welfare function to enable the department to discharge its statutory and moral duties for the care and wellbeing of employees, students and other clients, ensuring health and safety considerations are fully incorporated into options appraisals for the design of new delivery models..

 

The successful candidate will help to develop and maintain up to date operational performance standards, in relation to relevant health and safety legislation, to achieve the safety, health and wellbeing of its employees and those affected by its services. They will maintain a health and safety management system and operational performance standards, in relation to relevant health and safety legislation, to achieve the safety, health and wellbeing of its employees and those affected by its services and advise on how to ensure best practise standards and legislation will continue to be adhered to as it creates new and diverse models of delivery of services with a more commercial approach.

 

They will manage, develop, support, motivate and lead the Health and Safety team to deliver relevant corporate objectives and support them in order to ensure that they deliver change in  a period of transition and during the development  of more commercial delivery models.
