Python Developer – Flask or Django, ElasticSearch,  SQL, Redis. Remote

Working for a financial data company, you must have good Python experience and be passionate about managing the exchange of data between various systems that power their platform. This will ideally suit someone with 2-3 year’s experience at mid-level, who is looking to develop and enhance their working technology stack.

As a python developer you will be proficient at writing reusable, testable and efficient code. Enjoy designing and implementing low latency, high availability applications, be strong on the security and data aspects of platforms and be comfortable working with data storage solutions such as ElasticSearch, SQL Server and Redis.

Skills and Responsibilities 

•    Fluent in Python, and experience with python package management and deployment
•    Skilled with ElasticSearch, SQL Server, and Redis
•    Familiarity with some ORM libraries
•    Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
•    Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
•    Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
•    Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems
•    Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
•    Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
•    Unit test and debugging skills
•    Proficient understanding of Git and other CI/CD tools for automating the deployment of code
