THE JOB TITLE: Field Service Engineer / Field Service Technician

THE PRODUCT: Automotive Air-Conditioning Equipment & Machines

THE SALARY PACKAGE: Up to £30,000 Basic + Bonus + Van + Benefits

THE LOCATION: Covering North of England

THE ROLE OF A FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER:

The majority of your time will be taken up through the service, repair, calibration and maintenance of a range of air conditioning systems. Travelling throughout the North of England, you will be visiting the customer base directly which include franchised dealerships and independent garages.

You don’t have to worry about organising hotels, journey plans or diaries either – all that is taken care of internally with the jobs booked in, allowing you to concentrate on getting to the customer and delivering fantastic customer service. This will allow you to plan your week in advance as you know where you will be and what work you have to complete.
 

Primarily based and working from home you will be travelling and driving, which will be a major part of the role. Within this position there is a lot of driving and some nights away (all expenses are paid for) so it would ideally suit someone that doesn’t want to look at the same 4 walls everyday!

EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER:

Due to the technical nature of this role, a background from a Mechanical and Automotive one would be ideal. Full training on the machines will be given however a good understanding / working knowledge is advantageous. If you are a technician or mechanic, looking for a life on the road – this is perfect for you!

Another important attribute is your personality and professionalism. You will in front of a wide range of customers every day and so it is important to be able to deliver fantastic customer service with everyone.
