SEN Teaching Assistant

Mainstream Primary School




COVID-19 Notice - We will not be interviewing candidates face to face, we will instead be interviewing via video link. Vetting procedures will be carried out online.


As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Reception, you will be supporting a child with an EHCP for Autism. You will be supporting the child on a one-to-one basis, helping the child academically as well with encouragement, emotional support and in social interaction. In addition to this you will be collaborating with the SENCO and external SEN professionals in order to provide the best possible support for the child.


  • £75-95 per day, dependent on experience/qualifications.
  • Full-time
  • Long-term, potentially permanent for the right candidate



The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will:

Be proactive
Work well in a team
Have a positive attitude
Have good experience working one-to-one and in groups
