Application support / Java Developer - SC Cleared/Clearable- permanent opportunity based in Hampshire or Croydon - up to 60k

Working for a high profile IT Systems Integration and Consultancy firm within the Application Support team, you will provide 3rd line App Support and Java Development support on a number of high-profile projects within a Government organisation. This is an ideal role for someone who has 3rd line application support experience, who understands Java well enough to support applications to do bug fixing and add on's and progress their technical skills.

Due to the nature of this role Security Clearance will be required so you must hold or have the ability to achieve Security Clearance

The core skills required are:

• JAVA
• Groovy
• Jenkins
• BitBucket
• PostgreSQL

It is advantageous to have the following:

• Docker
• Kubernetes
• HELM

There are 2 potential shifts available - 8am to 4pm or 12pm to 8pm. However, this is expected to transition to normal business hours (9am to 5pm) in the coming months.
