Operatons Supervior - Electrical


Job Description:

Our client are an electrical inspection and testing company who prides themselves on their compliance expertise.  They have been trading since 2010 and they have over 150 staff members and a turnover of £10M.

They have a new and exciting position for an Operations Supervisor to manage a team in the South of England.  You will join their core Operations Management Team and the role will ensure that their Southern electrical compliance programmes are consistently delivered to their exact standards.


The primary drivers of the role are to deliver a quality service to suit the client and our own business needs. In addition, to monitor, supervise and support field operative development, performance and customer service.


This role is a key position for driving electrical compliance through; growth, quality, profitability, customer focus and communicating essential business information through effective leadership


You will work closely with the core Operations team, the reports & drawing department team and sales team to ensure that timescales for site activities and objectives are achieved.


You will ensure that job targets are met, through on-site and remote supervision of work, post-work audits & reviews, pre-start meetings and maintain & improve if necessary, the quality of reports.


The ideal candidate will have a good level of understanding of the legislation around inspection and testing and have a Electrical Trade Background


You will already be an excellent Supervisor and leader of people including effective first level management and great communication and interpersonal skills.


You will encourage a high level of performance, train and support others in order for them to meet their goals and objectives.


Technically we would like the candiate to have the following equalisations and skills: -


IET, BS7671:2018

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

City & Guilds Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations 2394 or 2395


IT literacy Microsoft office package

Performance Management         

Results driven

Customer service

Time management
