Our client is a global facilities management and building services organisation, who has an ever expanding, very successful Electrical division.

Due to continued success within a blue-chip contract, they are now recruiting for an Area Site Technician covering sites in and around Edinburgh.

This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a number of site locations and you will be the first line in all maintenance issues throughout your allocated sites. You may be required to request specialist attendance following initial call out.

The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPM’s and ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date at all times.

You must have experience of working within a similar position in a retail or commercial environment and hold the following qualifications:

• Apprentice served Electrician with appreciate City & Guilds Qualifications (NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds 236 pt1 & 2 – essential
• AM2 or Scottish Equivalent- essential
• 18th Edition- essential
• Full driving license – essential
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 – desirable
• Experience working in a multi-site environment

In return, our client is offering a total package of £32,100 to increase to £33,800 after probation, including on call 1 in 4 weeks + company van + health care + pension scheme + 33 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays)
