THE JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager

THE SALARY PACKAGE: c£35,000 Basic + Bonus + Car + Benefits

Consistently successful within the UK and looking to increase their growth further, an exciting new role for Business Development Manager has arisen.

 

THE ROLE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

 

As a business development manager, you will be covering and responsible for your own region across the South West of England (list of main cities covered below).

Your customer base is varied and wide ranging as is the use of the products you are selling. Dealing purely with distributors, you have the opportunity to deal, not only with the automotive distribution (motor factor) market place, but also explore other aligned industries, such as marine, agriculture, industrial, commercial vehicle and tools.

 
Working with a plan to grow new and existing business within your customer base, you will work from home independently but also be a part of the wider the sales team with full support readily available to ensure that you are successful in your role.

 

This is not a “hard” sales role and relies more on your imagination, creativity and enthusiasm to help pull through sales to the end users. Relying on methods such as staff training, marketing, promotions, trade shows and work outs to enthuse and grow the distribution sales.

EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

 

Primarily, you must understand and have experience of selling to distributors or distribution networks. Knowledge of how this sales process works is essential to being successful in this role, however we are open to the industries that you’ve sold too and having exposure to any of the ones listed above will be a huge advantage.


As a person, you will have a great personality and the determination to succeed as well as being comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
