My client is a high voltage engineering company specialising in electrical power infrastructure, grid connections and renewable generation.  They are currently seeking an Approved Electrician based Bridgwater.

Duties:

• Undertake site electrical installations including; lighting and power, cable tray/ladder, cable installation, switchgear installation
• Carry out Inspections and testing to both new and existing installations
• Be able to take the role as lead electrician on projects, reporting to Site Manager and Project Manager
• To provide assistance to the HV teams on larger site installations
• Mentor and coach junior staff in developing their knowledge and skills
• Carry out work in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
• Take personal ownership and responsibility of any company property entrusted to them
• Project a professional image to clients and colleagues

Requirements:

• Must hold JIB approved ECS card
• Time served Approved Electrician having served recognised apprenticeship to 17th /18th Edition
• Inspection Testing (2391 or equivalent)
• Experience of working within the electrical power sector desirable
• Experience of working on Construction sites
• Experience working on Commercial & Industrial installations
• Ability to work proactively on own or as part of a team
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
