Job Title: Test Site General Manager
Ideally this will be based out of the North East, however there is flexibility around location due to the experience of the successful candidate.
The business is a well-established, independently owned and innovative manufacturer with a healthy order book!
Salary of a Test Site General Manager
Up to £60,000 depending on experience plus company car.
Job Description of a Test Site General Manager
Reporting to the Director you will have accountability of establishing this brand-new facility from planning stages through to recruiting staff and business start-up.
Introduce and maintain documented systems such as UKAS, recruit and manage a team of Senior Technicians and Technicians, have overall responsibility for the operational health and safety and represent the company at client/technical meetings.
Produce reports and manage resources/procurement to meet testing procedures.
Skills & experience of a Test Site General Manager
The successful candidate MUST have experience from a testing and engineering background at a Senior level and ideally experience of implementing UKAS accreditation processes.
An entrepreneurial flair will be required, as well as the drive and motivation for site success. Professional communicator, paying great attention to the details as well as a credible and well respected manager!
