We are excited to be offering 2 opportunities for the delivery of Fabrication and Welding;

x1 Lead Tutor for Fabrication and Welding

x1 Tutor/Assessor for Fabrication and Welding

Location: East Midlands – Remote and Centre Based (Must be flexible with travel when covid restrictions lifted)

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on role and experience)

Essential Criteria for Tutor/Assessor for Fabrication and Welding

  • Hold a Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding.
  • Ideally hold a PTLLS and or an Assessor award.
  • Hold solid occupational experience within Fabrication and Welding.
  • Experience of delivering training to individuals either in a vocational setting or in-house.
  • Possibility to be progressed though a Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • Full, clean driving licence, use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.

Essential Criteria for Lead Tutor for Fabrication and Welding

  • Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA
  • Hold or be willing to work towards Internal Verifier Award
  • Must have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Fabrication and Welding / Mechanical Engineering, with exposure to classroom based delivery
  • Hold a recognised qualification in Engineering at Level 5 or above
  • Hold solid occupational experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge / understanding of Ofsted requirements
  • Confident with / or have experience of delivering training to individuals.
  • Full, clean driving licence, use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.

Duties:

  • Deliver Apprenticeships in Fabrication & Welding levels 2 and 3 – and up to level 5 depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Plan and deliver high quality training programmes, within a workshop/classroom based setting, to groups of learners based at our clients training centre, along with off site work based Assessments as required.
  • Support management with the review, development and planning of training programmes and curriculum
  • Track progress and maintain documentation for all areas of the learners training programme to include: milestones, testing, reviews, certification and completions.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Work to learner review and completion time-scales.
