Primary Teacher Gateshead
Hello Education are looking for a primary teacher for a special needs school in Gateshead.
The children who attend this school have SEMH / Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and can display challenging behaviour. The role requires someone who is experienced in teaching children of this nature and has a resilient character. Team Teach training is desired but not essential.
The post will commence in September 2021 and will be ongoing. There is an opportunity to become a permanent member of staff for the right candidate. The school offers fantastic support and are happy to consider NQT’s.
To be part of this team you will ideally need to have:
- QTS with a Primary specialism
- Previous experience of teaching children with special needs, particularly in a special needs school
- Experienced with SEMH/Social, Emotional and Mental Health
- Team Teach trained
