THE JOB TITLE: Customer Service Manager

THE PRODUCT: Automotive Parts Manufacturer

THE SALARY PACKAGE: c£28,000 Basic + Bonus + Benefits

THE LOCATION: Wolverhampton

A global business that is widely known and recognised for manufacturing high quality automotive parts.

 

THE ROLE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER:

 

Taking on the role of customer service manager, you will be wholly responsible for the sales office operation within the site, managing a small team comprised of a number of customer service agents and administrators.

 

An essential part of the business, the customer service team take calls and enquiries from a variety of customers throughout the UK that include automotive garages, workshops, dealers and distributors and their nature can include:

  • Processing customer orders
  • Keeping customers informed of order progress / delays
  • Technical enquiries
  • Organising stock cleanses
  • Warranty issues
  • Cross-Referencing

 

Overseeing this team, you will ensure efficiency and customer service is maintained to an extremely high standard and everything is running as smoothly as possible. As the manager, you will be closely liaising with other parts of the business (including external sales) on how and where the team can be of support.

 

EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER:

 

As an individual, you will ideally have had similar experience of managing a sales office / customer service operation and be able to prove how you’ve had a positive impact on businesses you’ve worked for previously.

You should also be confident in your own ability and experience to be able to suggest changes and see through their implementation.

 

An experience of the automotive industry or parts, while not essential, would hold you at an advantage when applying to this role.
