Are you a talented Book-Keeper?
Can you demonstrate that you have experience of managing a small end to end payroll, sales ledger and purchase ledger?
If so then you could be perfect for my client.
The Role:
In the Book-Keeper role you'll report to the Managing Director and will be primarily responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of transactional finance.
Specific tasks include:
- Managing sales ledger
- Managing Purchase Ledger
- Processing payroll for 50 employees
- Processing all statutories including SMP, SAP, SSP, SPP
- Managing all transactional finance queries
This position is based in the company's Solihull office, so please ensure that's within a reasonable commutable distance for you before you apply.
The standard working hours for this job are Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 5:30 with 1 hour break.
The Candidate:
To be considered for the Book-Keeper role you will need to possess direct experience of managing a small end to end payroll.
We also need you to have prior experience of:
- Sales ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Dealing with finance queries
Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:
- An AAT level 3 or 4 qualification
- Experience of using Sage 50
- Experience of using Sage Payroll
- Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables/vlookups)

The Package:
The basic salary for the Book-Keeper role is between £21,000 - £24,000 per annum depending on experience.
You'll also receive other additional benefits which include the following: 
- Salary increase to £25k after probation
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
