Job Description:

A leading Investment Management Organisation based in Manchester are looking to identify a new Transformation Team Leader to join their Real Estate business on a full time basis. 

The role will be a fast passed technology driven opportunity filled with leading edge technology projects and responsibilities that include building new roadmaps, building and leading new teams, liaision with senior stakeholders and delivery of complex enterprise projects.

  • Identify change opportunities and liaise with stakeholders to promote benefits

  • Ability to identify problems and promote solutions 
  • Understand complex technical issues and identify business / commercial outcomes 

Risk and Control 

  • Work within the Risk Management Framework 
  • Appreciate and understand the Compliance and Regulatory requirements within the policies and procedures in place 

What we are looking for

  • Broad 
  • technical skills including 
    • Multiple hosting approaches - Physical, Virtual, Cloud; and how they impact service management 
    • Infrastructure components and architecture  servers (AIX, Linux & Windows) Networks, Storage, Clustering, Load Balancing, Virtualisation 
    • Software components - e.g. JAVA (WAS, JBOSS, TomCat etc.) MQ, Oracle, SQL Server
    • Configuration Management 
    • Capacity and Performance Management 
  • Commercial Awareness and how costing impacts the business strategy 
  • Background in a Financial Services organisation (Ideally) with large Change and Transformation Projects 
  • Ability to liaise with technical and non technical staff throughout the business
