Our client is undertaking and investigating new initiatives across a few areas which require significant analysis to be undertaken. These areas include major transformation in relation to increasing access to the Authorities services by the public using technology, Health and Social Care Interoperability and the new Digital Agenda. You will be required to undertake various analysis tasks relating to these areas and others to help support strategic decisions that need to be made.
You will play a leading role in ensuring that the use of ICT is fully aligned with business requirements
You will produce strategic and detailed requirements, options appraisals and recommendations based on business case
You will liaise with a range of services and stakeholders to understand requirements
You will ensure that the business is able to realise the anticipated benefits from the solutions implemented
You will maintain a broad knowledge of ICT capability and the ICT marketplace
You will maintain a good awareness of best practice with regard to business processes and the use of ICT
You will use your communication skills to compel customers to make the right decisions and achieve the best outcomes
Specific skill set required: knowledge/experience of Northgate systems and in particular the Revenues & Benefits system and experience of the End of Year process.
