The Company

This Senior Design Manager’s role is with one of the UK’s leading main contractors. They are a diverse organisation with activities in most sectors of the built environment. This particular role is within their London major projects division that undertakes a wide range of schemes in the private and public sectors including residential and commercial buildings. Projects will vary in value from £50 – 200m and this specific role is to work a £50m new build residential scheme in London.

The Person

We are looking for a Senior Design Manager who has been working with a top 100 main contractor on London based new build projects. You will have experience of taking projects from pre-construction through delivery to handover and you will be responsible for managing all the design aspects of projects.  You will need to be able to lead meetings with external design teams and ensure that they are delivering design on time, within budget and at the desired quality. Experience of working on new build projects in the £50m plus range is essential.
