Job Description:

Administrator/Centre Coordinator

£17,900 - £22,000 per annum

Macclesfield (Shuttle buses run from Didsbury and Alderly Edge)

Fixed term until 31st March 2019

 

I am currently looking for an Administrator and Centre Coordinator to join our client, a reputable health organisation in Macclesfield to start immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate annual reports.
  • Coordinate all administrative aspects of the centre including recruitment and finance.
  • Assisting the EA to Deputy Director and Administrative Team.
  • Contribute to the day to day running of the centre.
  • Be proactive in organising and planning own work activities to ensure all projects and activities are on schedule and completed to a high standard.
  • Collating information and writing drafts where necessary.
  • Preparing and circulating papers, agendas, drafting briefing notes and to take minutes.
  • Organising efficiently the administrative arrangements for meetings, including room booking, teleconference, catering, travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and external colleagues.
  • Assist in producing and maintaining a number of sources of information; keeping project information updated on relevant websites.
  • Attend internal and external meetings and training programmes relevant to the performance and execution of the duties and responsibilities of the post.
  • To assist events.
  • Coordination of diaries, venue and transport booking and supplying relevant information.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate information and data relating to the centre including budget, recruitment and staff.

What are we looking for?

  • General Administrative experience.
  • Can work using your own initiative.
  • Comfortable communicating at all levels.
  • Experience of working within a University/Higher Education Institution, NHS setting or within a research environment would be an advantage.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, IT Skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Attention to detail.
