My exclusive client has not just survived through the past few months but has thrived. They supply major retailers with around 70% of their current output

They have grown so much over the last year, with one of their best-selling products seeing a massive increase of over 350% of the previous year’s orders. They now operate 7 days a week and are now looking for a night’s engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

3 nights a week – Wednesday – Friday (36 hours) yes, you read that right….

What do we need from you I hear you ask?

You’re going to need to be a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably electrically biased. You will have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing site, ideally food, drinks, dairy – anything that’s classed as FMCG, they will also consider engineers from any manufacturing background.

You will look objectively at every side of an idea or situation to guarantee that all outcomes are thoroughly calculated before deciding on a suitable course of action. Planned Maintenance is important within this Engineering department- you won’t be ‘firefighting’ for the entire shift.

Obviously, from time to time you will perform Reactive Maintenance, but you’ll have a real chance at driving efficiency and improvement across the site.

Duties and common issues include dealing with motor changes, working on robots, packaging systems, Pick and place robots, labellers, conveyor systems, filling lines and much more automated machinery.
