Job Description:
Our client is a newly formed Precision Engineering company based in Bristol. Due to a packed order book and an extremely promising year ahead, they are currently looking for a CNC Laser Programmer to join the team on a permanent basis that will continue to expand and grow as the year progresses.
Duties:
- Experience of programming laser profiling machines
- Nesting/optimizing parts into stock sheet
- Programming parts from customer drawings in PDF format and using STP files
- Experience using Radan programming software would be an advantage
- Quality checking all programming work carried out to ensure high levels of accuracy
- Ensuring production schedules are maintained & updated
- Knowledge of Amada bend cam would be an advantage
- Liaising with customers
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Laser programmer
- Strong Fabrication/Sheet Metal knowledge
