The role of the Senior Measurement Certification Co-ordinator is to ensure the delivery of the regulatory measurement of flow from circa 300 wastewater and circa 8 potable water treatment works to the environment in accordance with EA's Measurement Certification Standard, and to support the engineering teams in the delivery of AMP7 & 8 outputs.

They are responsible for the preparation of daily regulatory flow data for the majority of our clients treatment works that release effluent to the environment. They will also take charge of the Quality Management System for the flow data such that it complies with the EA's 'Self Monitoring of Flow' and 'Quality Management System Guidance', and is submitted to the Environment Agency within the prescribed timescales.

As the Line Manager for 2 direct reports, whilst also dealing with contractors and environmental agencies, this role will play a key part in ensuring that industry standards are being met and audits being passed. The role is site based so a company car is provided. Base of work is flexible across our clients many offices.

Qualifications

This role will make excellent use of your knowledge of how to measure, record and analyse on-site flow data as well as your confidence working with MCerts regulation, compliance matters and industrial/scientific instrumentation. The successful candidate will be able to build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors and environmental agencies to achieve win-win results, whilst also ensuring precision and accuracy in the work being completed.

Ideally you will have a Scientific degree but this is not essential, provided you have ample experience in a similar role and are able to manage complex data sets.
