Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Produce and maintain an operations burndown plan in accordance with the Aircraft Operations planning process, in line with the latest aircraft build schedule, taking into account the key constraints of the business, considering labour, build logic, critical path, capacity, tooling, and material availability.

Using the operations burndown plan assist the aircraft managers to accurately forecast by week, by day the build schedule.

Prepare daily work schedules.

Interrogate daily the operations that are available to work using the appropriate in house programmes / tools.

Liaise with the material logisticians on a daily basis.

Maintain a schedule impact tracker. Liaise with Business Analysts to enable the completion of the CPR preparation.

Produce and maintain a job delay register. Investigate trends.

Update the % complete against each operation in work on a daily basis.

Analyse daily the completion and progress against the operations burndown plan. Report to the senior management team and key stakeholders.

Carry out daily checks on operator clocking discipline.

Ensure integrity and quality of the schedules are controlled and timely implementations of baseline changes are made.

Work with all of the Material Planning and Control team and with other teams around the business to develop and continuously improve the planning and reporting processes in order to meet the needs of the business.

Ensure that all processes are accurately documented in the team's departmental instructions.

Build and maintain relationships within the Operations Aircraft Centre in order that the Material Planning and Control team can work effectively to deliver the team's deliverables.

You will undertake any other reasonable tasks that the Material Planning and Control Manager may require of you so long as you have the appropriate skills, knowledge and support to be able to undertake the task

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work and to co-operate with managers, supervisors and others to enable the company to meet its statutory obligations for health, safety and environment.

The ability to demonstrate an understanding of planning techniques such as dependencies, risk contingency, resource constraints & forecasting.

The ability to interrogate large amounts of data and produce meaningful reports.

The ability to communicate to all levels of the business.

Computer literate with strong skills in SAP, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
