Driver Hire Slough are part of a network of over 100 offices nationwide and are the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics Recruitment Company. We offer temporary and permanent driving jobs, non-driving work and Driver CPC training.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Driver Hire Slough are proud to be working closely with a number of major airport hubs within London. Our client, has forecasted increased levels of passenger air travel in line with the UK Road map outlined by the UK Government. As such, require Class 1 drivers to help support terminals with passenger activity. I know what you’re thinking, LGV 1 vehicles to help terminals with passenger activity, what does this really mean? Well, you’d be driving 3.5T vans with trailors managing and replenishing passenger trolleys where needed. As such, the inclusion of a trailer means we’re only sourcing drivers who can operate articulated vehicles, hence LGV 1 drivers only for this role.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• LGV 1 experience (2 Years minimum)
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tacho Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points – No DD, DR or IN endorsements
• Tail Lift experience
• Airport Cargo (landside) experience – Preferred however not essential for this role
• Level D equivalent – Preferred however not essential for this role.

WHAT ARE WE PAYING?

£16.19 to £18.50 per hour Monday to Sunday – AM DUTIES

£17.94 to £20.50 per hour Monday to Sunday – PM DUTIES
