Software Engineer/Developer - 5G-NR opportunity based in Stevenage - 45k - 55k pa + benefits

Fantastic opportunity to work on client site for a high profile IT Solutions organisation focusing on the Design, development and verification of L1/L2 layer for 5G wireless systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new functionalities in C / C++
• Working collaboratively in cross-functional team following Agile methodology
• Use of TDD and CI practices with version control system (GIT)
• Perform continuous requirement handling and analysis of 5G features
• Should be able to multi-task, prioritize work depending upon business requirement
• Mentor junior members of the team to guide and unblock them for achieving team deliveries
• Resolve customer issues as per the expected timelines
• Interact with Architects, other cross-functional teams for feature understanding and resolving dependencies

Required Skills:

• Excellent working experience in C/C++
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Knowledge of 5G air interface specifications and signal processing chain
• Good fundamentals of signal processing and digital communications
• Experience in MATLAB modelling/analysis of physical layer algorithms
• Good understanding of NR5G Layer-2 MAC spec
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in verbal and written English
