Process Engineer – Food, Beverage, Pharma
£300 - £350 per day (LTD)
6 Month Contract

My client provides design and project management services for process plant projects in a range of industries including food, beverage, chemical, health & beauty, pharma and more.

They are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to be responsible for defining the process and equipment required as well as carrying out site commissioning for an upcoming project.

The role of the Process Engineering will include:

• Produce P&IDs to detail the pipework and instrumentation layouts
• Create process flow diagrams and block PFDs
• Calculate mass and energy balances to ensure the mass and energy flow is correct
• Create the URS
• Ensure the sizing of the equipment for the plant is correct

The successful candidate will come with the following skills and experience:

• Capable Process Engineer who has worked on projects from start to finish
• Previously worked on projects in the Food, Beverage, Brewing, Distillery or Pharmaceutical sectors
• Able to produce P&IDs, Process Flow descriptions, Block PFDs and Mass & Energy Balance calculations
• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering
