Project Manager – Process/FMCG
£400 - £450 per day (LTD)
6 Month Contract

My client provides design and project management services for process plant projects in a range of industries including food, beverage, chemical, health & beauty, pharma and more.

They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for a large project for a US based client.

The role of the Project Manager will include:

• Be responsible for the scope, cost and performance vs budget for a turnkey project valued at £10m
• Run the project from initial kick off meetings
• Create the project plan
• Manage progress issues with the engineering teams
• Identify any risks and understand the terms of the contract that have been agreed
• Some international travel (typically once or twice between a 6–12-month period)

The successful candidate will come with the following skills and experience:

• Experienced Project Manager who has overseen the commercial aspects of projects from start to finish
• Previously managed project in the Food, Brewing, Distillery, Pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors
• Handled large projects valued over £2m
• Able to lead a team and ensure projects are moving along at required pace
• Take responsibility for budgets for projects
• Experienced in cost-control, negotiation, problem solving and influencing
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
