Skills/Talent programme manager needed in Bradford £22.12ph ref 5172568

Full time hours on a temporary basis.

The client aims to become the employment and skills supplier of choice, transforming the approach to meeting the recruitment and skills needs of the District’s employers.  They also supports the District’s residents to train, enter into and progress in employment with these businesses.  This is a critical change management role helping build an inclusive and sustainable economy within the Bradford district.

 

The key competencies and experience we would be looking for in a suitable candidate:

  • A proven track record of successful programme design and delivery experience within a large organisation of significant scope and complexity, including motivating teams and partnerships, establishing positive performance culture, driving innovation and business growth, and delivering continuous service improvement
  • Proven track record of operating complex projects or programmes and providing clear advice on risks, delivery options, cost implications and recommended solutions, in relation to employment and skills.
  • Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage and develop a brand, producing marketing and communications that meet the needs of multiple audiences
  • Ability to oversee and set a budget, including effective commissioning of projects with the programme
  • Experience delivering strategic objectives, and problem solving within a collaboration where there may be competing interests; enabling executive and senior management level decision making within a large multifunctional public service organisation, with operational management experience in a key partnership discipline such as Education, Skills, Business or Voluntary sector.
  • At least 5 years’ experience of managing diverse teams and working at a senior level to design, deliver and drive programmes/projects of change
