Job Description:

A busy manufacturing client based just outside of Yate, are currently seeking a Despatch Administrator to join the team. The successful candidate would be responsible for the design of new products and components, jigs & fixtures and other related material.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Despatch administration – picking goods for despatch, matching goods with despatch paperwork, raising carriers’ documentation, loading goods onto carriers’ vehicles. Liaising with visiting customers in a courteous and helpful manner. Co-ordination with the Sales team for maximising customer service

 

  • Stores – maintaining accurate stock levels, kitting and picking for stores, maintaining stock rotation for FIFO. Putting stock away in stores & service department. Liaising with Production Control to ensure appropriate stock levels of spares are maintained. Completing stock checks as required

 

  • Service Exchange – booking in of returned units, tracking and progressing of outstanding returns liaising with Service/Exchange team and customers. Updating AA database

 

  • Maintain and observe all Health and Safety Rules that pertain to employee’s responsibilities

 

  • Maintain good standards in the work place, keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe at all times

 

  • Attend meetings as required

 

  • Implement company requirements for the ISO9001 quality system at all times

 

  • Complete all time recording as required

 

  • General office duties as required or directed

 

  • Forklift duties when required

 

Requirements:

 

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Despatch Administrator or similar
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Health and & Safety experience
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills

 

Offer:

 

  • £20,280 per annum
  • 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday
  • 28 days holiday progressing to 33 days
  • Pension
