Indirect Purchasing Controller
Sunderland
We are working for a leading Tier 1 Automotive supplier in their search for an Indirect Purchasing Controller due to growth in the business.
You will be responsible for supporting the purchasing function for all indirect purchasing negotiations & supplier management.
Salary of an Indirect Purchasing Controller
Up to £38,000
Job Description of an Indirect Purchasing Controller
- Manage Indirect purchasing to include spend analysis on current supply base, identifying new supplier opportunities where necessary.
- Prepare month end financial reports for the business unit.
- Support management with supplier KPIs (Savings tracker, Risk review).
- Maintain supplier database and ensure relevant supplier documentation is kept up to date.
- Support management with the implementation of cost tables.
Skills & experience of an Indirect Purchasing Controller
- Ideally educated to degree level, preferably within a business/SCM or Engineering related subject.
- Experience within a similar role, gained in fast moving, automotive manufacturing.
- Able to demonstrate a high degree of computer literacy, proficient in MS Office & ERP/MRP systems.
