ROLE: Large Format Repro Operator

Location: Preston
Salary: £23,500 -£25,000 depending on experience.

Hours 40 hrs a week, can be flexible on core working times.

My client are a leading provider of bespoke wallpaper printing, working with some very well-known and prestigious clients.

The Repro Operator will be responsible for the following:

• To ensure that all images and files are complete and ready for printing according to the printer's specifications.
• Offering technical advice and ensuring all artwork is achievable within print production constraints.
• Amending, checking, and pre-flighting packaging artwork
• Ensure all guidelines are followed.
• Checking for any artwork errors
• Providing colour proofing
• Using Adobe Creative Suite & AVA Cadcam for prepress
• Assisting print room with reloading of machines
• Meeting clients face to face in experience centre when sampling.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience of using Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of AVA RIP software preferable
• Knowledge of, pre-press and repro procedures
• Knowledge of HP Latex machinery preferable
• Experience of the print industry and processes i.e. digital, gravure, screen
• Proven experience of high standard work
• Ability to work both as part of a team and unsupervised.
• To adhere to all internal processes in place for digital workflows
• Problem- solving and ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure.
