Maintenance Engineer - Days - (Multi Skilled - Mech/Elec) - Competitive Salary (Double Days)

We are currently looking for a brand new multi skilled maintenance engineer to come and join our established team here at a company based in Sommerset who specialise in the production of specialist aerosol, personal care and beauty products. We are wanting an electrically qualified maintenance engineer with previous experience in FMCG environments.

The main role here that the successful candidate will be doing is to ensure that all Mechanical, electrical and product equipment are maintained to an optimum level. In addition to maintaining all the equipment, the successful candidate will need to be able to predict faults and make improvements to save time and money for the company.

The successful candidate will need to have a good level of electrical qualifications, preferably 18th edition if possible, as well as have a good solid amount of knowledge working with and on PLC's. When it comes to PLC's the successful candidate will need to be able to fault find, troubleshoot and some knowledge on programming but isn't essential if they cannot program. The PLC's that the successful candidate will be working on are Siemens S5 and S7, as well as Allen Bradley.
