Quality Inspector – Aerospace – First Off & Final Inspection

Manchester

Salary/Rate: £25,000 - £30,000

 

A key client of mine has created a new role for a Quality Inspector / FAIR Inspector after sustained growth.

 

THE ROLE

As Quality Inspector you will be part of a dedicated Quality Inspection team and will be responsible for inspection of products throughout the production process and on finished products. You will be an experienced Quality Inspector and will have a good track record on CMM Inspector and manual inspection within a pressurised engineering environment, ideally aerospace, automotive or precision engineering.

You will be responsible for:

  • Inspection of components using manual techniques and CMM operation
  • Completing FAIR’s documentation
  • Investigation of non-conformances using recognised problem solving techniques such as 8D

THE PERSON

As part of the Quality Inspection team this role is suited to someone who works well as part of a team. This role is suited to either an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a long term role or for an ambitious Quality Inspector looking to develop their skills and experience.
