A successful candidate for this position would be someone who has previous experience working on operational risk within financial markets and has an organised and well-rounded approach towards working under pressure. Fluency in both spoken and written French and English is essential.Your overall objective in this Lead position would be to drive and govern operational risk within multiple business units and assess the impact that change initiatives would have on the operational risk profile of these units. You will also be expected to assist the Business Manager in managing the Business Lines and overseeing other the business management of the organisation when required.

Based in Paris and a fixed 6-month contract to start ASAP - this is an opportunity within an international team within a global organisation. Main tasks will involve:

• Performing operational risk assessments on change initiatives
• Assessing the effectiveness of the operational controls framework
• Working together with the Business Manager to ensure different departments complying with internal risk policies
• Gathering complex information and preparing presentations to highlevel committes
