Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - 40-42k – Huntingdon (Mon-Fri) - DOUBLE DAYS!
We are looking for a multi skilled maintenance engineer that has experience working in a Packaging, FMCG, Production or Manufacturing environment and used to a high speed setting. The shifts on offer are a double days (6-2/2-10) - 8 hour shifts.
We are a packaging company who are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer who is capable of working with single and three phase systems, motors, inverters, safety circuits and electrical schematics alongside PPM maintenance and breakdown maintenance. The successful engineer needs to have both electrical and mechanical capabilities within demonstrated within previous a maintenance roles. The right engineer will have 17/18th edition and an appropriate educational knowledge (minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
The role is to be part of a new and developing team which will allow the new engineer to put their stamp on the procedures within the team and create an environment that they want to work in, we are going through an exciting growth plan and are planning to move into a new facility next year so now is the perfect time to join the team.
Any experience with PLCs would be great as the role will involve basic fault finding/reading inputs and outputs, we have a variety of PLCs used at site so experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi would be great, any programming experience or ability would be a massive bonus however not essential.
The successful engineer will have experience within a production/manufacturing environment, specific food or FMCG experience is desirable. Time served and qualified individuals will be considered for this role, but a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within a production environment is needed.
