We are recruiting for one of our clients for a Audits and Standards Officer. The ideal candidate will have worked at management level in a company which supports people who have a learning disability or autism. The candidate will need knowledge of up to date statutory legislation including Safeguarding, the Care Act, Data Protection and Health and Safety.
The role of the Audits and Standards Officer is to travel between the services identifying and addressing training and development needs and ensuring all company policies and procedures are being upheld.
The role will be building relationships with colleagues, the people they support and their families and other relevant departments. Working alongside the operation colleagues, the candidate will be carrying out a range of audits in services, making objective judgements on findings, compiling reports and making action plans from their results.
The services are spread across the Home Counties and in particular the South East, so will involve a lot of driving. Having a car is essential to this role. Although this position is based from the clients head office which is in Milton Keynes, there is some flexibility to be based at one of their regional offices in the South East. The job is mainly weekdays, but some flexibility is required outside of these times, including working with staff in services who work different shift patterns, to understand any issues and work towards resolving.
The Salary for this position is from £24,335, dependant on experience, with a £2000 payment per year towards car expenses.
