Our client is looking for a Planning Enforcement Officer. To carry out duties in respect of statutory planning enforcement responsibilities.
The successful candidate will receive, log and investigate complaints where it is alleged that there has been a breach of planning control, including visiting the site, interviewing the appropriate parties and monitor developments to ensure compliance with conditions imposed on planning permissions and planning obligations, including liaison with other services and interested authorities.
They will maintain a register (as required by Section 188 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990) of enforcement notices and stop notices and be responsible for preparing and serving notices under Section 330 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (Requisition for Information).
